Introduction

Hello friends! I am Riya, and today I will take you on a peaceful and spiritual 2-day trip. The best part is that this trip can be completed on a pocket-friendly budget. During these two days, we will visit Purnagiri Temple in Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, and Siddh Baba Temple in Nepal. It is believed that the Purnagiri pilgrimage is incomplete without visiting Siddh Baba Temple. On the second day, we will visit Nanakmatta Sahib Gurudwara, and finally, we will explore Nainital.

Day 1: Purnagiri temple

1.1 LocationThis temple is located near Tanakpur in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand. It is about 20 km from Tanakpur. The temple is situated on Punya Parvat.

1.2 Height the temple is located at an altitude of about 3,000 feet (910 metres) above sea level.

1.3 Mythological history: is believed that when Lord Vishnu used the Sudarshan Chakra to divide the body of Goddess Sati, her navel (Nabhi) fell on the Purnagiri Hill. Therefore, this place is considered very sacred.

1.4Temple Trek The best part is the steep trek to the temple. Many people get tired while climbing, so there are small resting places where they can relax for some time.

1.5Peaceful ExperienceThe peace and positivity I felt at the temple cannot be expressed in words. From the top, the view of the Nepal border and the Sharda River is truly breathtaking. I literally cannot describe my feelings for this place.

2. Siddh Baba Temple, Nepal

2.1 It is believed that the Purnagiri pilgrimage is incomplete without visiting Siddh Baba Temple.

2.2 Baba Siddhnath was a great devotee of Goddess Purnagiri.

2.3 Local people provide bike taxi services to cross the Nepal border at affordable rates

.2.4While crossing the border, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Sharda River. It appears as if two rivers are merging together, creating a scenic view.

2.5 After visiting both temples, we will return and stay overnight at a hotel according to our budget.

Day 2: I'm going to Nanakmatta sahib gurudwara and Nainital

3. Nanakmatta Sahib Gurudwara

3.1 It is believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place during one of his spiritual journeys. He meditated here and spread the message of peace, equality, and humanity.

3.2 The Gurudwara is a sacred place for Sikhs and attracts a large number of devotees throughout the year.

3.3 Visitors can attend prayers, seek blessings, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Gurudwara.

3.4 The Langar (community meal) is served to everyone without any discrimination, reflecting the values of equality and selfless service.

3.5 After visiting Nanakmatta Sahib Gurudwara, our 2-day spiritual trip comes to an end with beautiful memories and a peaceful experience.

4 Nainital

4.1 Even if you visit Nainital in the month of June, the temperature is not very high. The weather remains pleasant, and the temperature is around 17°C.

4.2 Boating in Nainital gives a different level of experience and excitement. There is also Thandi Sadak, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk. Walking there helps you feel relaxed and refreshes your mind.

4.3 During your walk, you can also enjoy street food like momos, pav bhaji, etc. Tasting these delicious foods makes your journey even more memorable.

Conclusion

This is my 2-day trip, which is low-budget, time-saving, and full of adventure. It is a perfect trip to relax your mind while enjoying beautiful places and memorable experiences.
